Koraput: An Odia woman has brought laurel to State by winning the ‘Best Walk’ crown in Mrs India 2019 beauty pageant contest held in Jaipur of Rajasthan recently.

Sneha Padala, hailing HAL Township Sunabeda in Koraput has made it to the audition round of the pageant after being informed from her facebook friend about the contest. She excelled in the audition round, leaving behind around 3000 contestants.

A fashion designer by profession, Sneha bagged the award after giving a tough fight to 200 other participants from different parts of the country in the final round.

She completed her schooling from Vyomayana Samastha Vidyalaya (VSV), HAL and B.com from Mumbai. She did fashion designing course in Bengaluru.

Sneha said that all the credits go to her parents, her husband and in-laws who stood with her all through this journey. “I am grateful to both my parents and in-laws as they consistently supported me and gave me freedom. I am really happy that I came out successfully from a tough contest”, she said.

“I am keen on doing fashion designing and modeling. I came to know about the pageant from a facebook friend. Then I took the permission of my husband and family members and with their support, I tried my luck in the competition. It is a matter of great pleasure and I feel privileged after this achievement”, Sneha added.
